Themistoklis Chrysafis was born and raised in Germany by Greek parents from whom he inherited a passion for mindful cooking and baking. As a teenager, he helped his parents cook in their restaurant in Dortmund. Later he worked as a cook in the German army. In the 80’s the family immigrated back to Greece where they ran a successful bakery for over 20 years. After that Themistoklis came to Paphos where he worked as a baker at Aphrodite Hills and as a cook in several restaurants and 5 star hotels (Atlantica, Thalassa, Elysium among others). His prolific work over the past years as a chef at Artognosia Bakery is a testament to his expertise.
